After the Grand Success of Kalatma,
Mind and media’s next issue

“All Is Well”
“surrounded by walls, nowhere to go
walls are closing in, no more air flow
no one can hear you, like your never there
no one can help, no one is there
kicking and screaming, yelling for help
mom sits and watches, while dad grabs his belt”
Much has been written about the phase of adolescence. This is a time when a child begins to question the value systems of his family and society while striving to form his own opinions. It is a time of great confusion and turmoil because it has sloughed away the old values and is yet to form the new ones. Parents often feel profoundly shocked and at times even get stunned to discover their teenage son or daughter beginning to question the values that they themselves abided to throughout their lives.
But it may not be an immodest comment if we say that these parents can now express a sign of relief since Mind and Media, an informal but influential registered group of journalists, writers & artists, has committed itself to a new glorious initiative of creating the bilingual (Marathi & English) issue deservingly titled as ‘All Is Well’ in view to make them persuasively learn about what life is all about. Our endeavor is to present life on an expanded canvas with all its gray and white shades; shades of hope and aspirations to help them live life to its fullest. It is a sincere effort to enlighten them that, life is a ‘serious fun’ and they should relish its charm seriously.

The previous issue of Mind and Media, ‘Kalatma’ the unification of Art, Culture and Education has proved to be a huge success, which was guest edited by Dr. Shriram Lagu. Bringing a fresh perspective about visual art, film, music, literature and theatre, it chronicles the appearance and growth of arts with sensitivity and style. The useful links of this issue are mentioned below.
